WHAT IS TPS SINGERS ACADEMY?
THE PERFORMER STUDIO (TPS) SINGERS ACADEMY is a NINE MONTH PROGRAM that teaches you the skills for taking your VOICE and STAGE PERFORMANCE to the HIGHEST LEVEL.
This TPS training EMPOWERS YOU with a STRONG, FEARLESS, FLEXIBLE, DYNAMIC and UNINHIBITED VOICE. TPS SINGERS ACADEMY provides a SAFESPACE and offers ALL THE TOOLS you need to REACH YOUR FULL POTENTIAL as a SINGING PERFORMER. Through training, you experience LASTING FRIENDSHIPS, JOY, SELF-LOVE, CONFIDENCE, ENTHUSIASM, INSPIRATION and TOTAL VOCAL FREEDOM.
The Singers Academy assists singers as they IDENTIFYand BREAK THROUGH MENTAL andEMOTIONAL BLOCKS that inhibit free singing. TPS creates OPPORTUNITIES for you to SHARE YOUR VOICE WITH THE WORLD through LIVE PERFORMANCES and RECORDINGS, both audio and video.

We are seeking dedicated singers who want to take their talent all the way to their absolute best and beyond!
AUDITIONS for AGES 14 & UP will be held by appointment in early September each year. Those interested must PREPARE A SONG OF YOUR CHOICE
(4 minutes or less) from ANY GENRE that best suits your current talents and skills.
Fill out our "Contact Us" form and in the notes box, list ALL POSSIBLE TIMES you can come for a 15 minute audition. Those auditioning who are under 18 years of age must bring one parent or guardian for a short interview where we discuss scheduling and other requirements for the program.

CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED. ONLY 9 STUDENTS ARE ACCEPTED each year. All students selected must commit to being in the 4 TPS productions throughout the school year (listed to the left). Our largest production each year takes place in June at the Grand Theatre in SLC.

'Wish Box' Workshop: Learn life skills to manifest abundance and further personal growth. Introduction to Law of Attraction principles to create intention and action through craft projects that serve vocal growth.

Audio Engineering Workshop: Basic sound engineering skills. Learn how audio technology relates to singing with microphones.

Body Usage Workshop: Basic Alexander Technique for singers to increase breath support, enhance vocal production, and create accuracy of movement.

Basic Dance Workshop: Learn commonly used dance steps in performance situations. Develop the skills to create your own individual and group choreography.
